The Marketing Analytics & Insights Specialist is responsible for identifying, gathering, analyzing, and translating market information into actionable recommendations that support growth across Latin America. This role focuses on understanding market trends, industry developments, customer needs, competitive dynamics, economic and regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities that can help Avient prioritize markets, applications, and solutions.
This is not a traditional marketing communications or campaign execution role. Its primary focus is market data analysis and the conversion of complex information into practical insights that can be understood and used by commercial leaders and other internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• Gather and synthesize quantitative and qualitative market information from corporate resources, purchased reports, industry associations, databases, public sources, and internal subject-matter experts.

• Identify and evaluate additional reliable sources of market intelligence and build an organized portfolio of regional sources, reports,



and analytical resources.

• Conduct market assessments to understand industry structure, market size, growth drivers, value-chain dynamics, customer needs, and market attractiveness.

• Analyze competitors’ positioning, pricing strategies, value propositions, go-to-market approaches, and commercial activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.

• Monitor market, technology, sustainability, socioeconomic, regulatory, customer, and consumer trends affecting target industries and applications.

• Identify emerging markets, applications, customer segments, and growth opportunities.

• Develop market sizing, business cases, and opportunity assessments, including TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses when applicable.

• Apply forecasting and trend analysis methodologies to evaluate market developments and their potential implications for the business.
