As the Senior Technical Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our customer base in Mexico, focusing on the meat, poultry, seafood, specialty food, dairy, bakery and beverage segments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, translating business strategy into actionable sales plans while advocating for customer needs within the organization. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, with in-plant problem-solving experience being a strong plus. You will drive sales growth by developing account strategies, building relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Location: This is a home-based position where candidates will work remotely from home when not traveling in the field. Preference is for candidates to located in Mexico City, Monterrey, or Actual León, Mexico.

• Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned customers and territory.

• Drive sales growth and increase market share with key customers.

• Manage contracts, pricing, and key negotiations.

• Track and support customer opportunities and all sales-related tasks using Salesforce.com.

• Serve as the primary link between customers and our U.S.-based technical excellence center.

• Oversee volume forecasting for assigned customers.

• Monitor and communicate customer, market, and competitor trends to the organization.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or R&D; within the food ingredient industry.
