We are looking for a talented Payroll Analyst to join our Payroll team for Cummins Services – HR Operations at Cummins Comercializadora in San Luis Potosí, SLP, Mexico.
Work Modality: Hybrid, 3 days o site, 2 days home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Run and/or review payroll simulations to ensure expected results for on cycle and off cycle payroll runs
- Identifies opportunities to improve payroll processes and accuracy.
- Perform data entry for inputs that aren't received through time and HR system interfaces (garnishments, tax adjustments, special payments or deductions)
- Perform calculations to ensure accurate coordination of pay for leaves that have part of payment paid by external government or benefits programs
- Perform pre and post payroll validations to account for variances and quality of employee payments
- Manage escalation of Answers queries and explain pay calculations, tax witholding and other adjustments that conclude in net pay
- Document cases answered using comments that are clear and concise to provide
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role,
you will need the following:
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive payroll experience for a US multi-state employer with at least 5,000 employees.
- Minimum 1 year experience using SAP Payroll system or ADP GlobalView (Processing Services model).
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of work rules and tax requirements across Federal, State and Local jurisdictions.
- Experience using Service Now or other case management system preferred.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and customer-focused in fast-paced environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
- Advanced English Level
Preferred:
- French Canadian language level a plus.
- Experience supporting Canadian payroll operations.

Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, administration or related.
