Your Role: Own the Challenge

Procurement Specialist-ensures implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.



You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The Work Model For The Role Is

This role is contributing to the Cost reductions and sourcing activities for indirect divisional materials and services, in Monterrey 3.0 site. Main stakeholders are maintenance, warehouse, manufacturing, HSE.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Supporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
• Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of indirect products/materials/services to reach business targets.
• Updating data in SAP system (PIR, Price, Lead time, MOQ, etc)
• Monitoring on time delivery of materials.* Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
