As a Staffing and Deployment Senior Manager you will lead talent deployment efforts within our talent and development practice, shaping how the right people are placed in the right roles at the right time. As a Senior Manager you will advise on staffing strategy, guide teams through complex requests, use sound judgment when priorities shift, and coach others through open, direct conversations that support team performance and operational excellence.
In this role at PwC, you will oversee staffing processes, coordinate across stakeholders, and apply your knowledge of workforce planning to help align talent with business needs. You will also bring clarity to changing demands, validate decisions with others, and develop an inclusive team environment that supports dependable delivery across multiple work streams.
Responsibilities
- Managing staffing and deployment activities across multiple talent needs to align the right people to the right work at the right time
- Developing deployment strategies that respond to shifting demand, project timelines, and workforce capacity
- Analyzing workforce data,
staffing models, and resource availability to inform allocation decisions and identify gaps
- Coordinating resource planning across business units to balance priorities, timelines, and utilization goals
- Advising leaders on staffing risks, capacity constraints, and redeployment options using clear, data-driven insights
- Leading planning discussions with stakeholders to confirm short-term and longer-term talent requirements
- Building reporting views that track workforce movement, demand trends, and deployment outcomes
- Driving process improvements that streamline staffing workflows and strengthen operational consistency
- Coaching team members on resource management practices, issue resolution, and day-to-day deployment execution
- Monitoring staffing requests, escalating conflicts, and resolving scheduling challenges that affect delivery
What You Must Have
- At least a High School Diploma or the equivalent degree
- At least 6 years of experience in Human Resources preferably in a professional services firm
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: Human Resources certification (e.g. SHRM, PHR)
- Demonstrating staffing and deployment leadership across complex portfolios
- Applying workforce planning and resource allocation in evolving environments
- Interpreting workforce analytics to guide staffing decisions
- Coaching teams through ambiguity, change, and competing priorities
- Communicating staffing strategies clearly to varied stakeholders
- Developing inclusive teams while advancing operational excellence
