Account Manager – Better Work Executive A better world starts with better work. Better Work is a US-based career coaching company that helps senior professionals land offers that change their lives: more scope, more compensation, better quality of life. Our Executive program is done-for-you: we do the vigente work of the job search alongside the client. This role is the person who does it.

The role

You'll own a portfolio of 5-7 executive clients end-to-end, from the day they join until they land a role. You're their partner in the search. You learn their background and goals, plan their networking, start the conversations in their voice, then coach them through the rest and hold them to it. You keep every coach and deliverable on schedule, prep them for the conversations you set up, and tell them where things stand each week.

The measure of the job is simple: how many interviews your clients get.

What you'll do

- Build the relationship: know your client's background, goals, and constraints well enough to write as them and to push them when needed
- Plan each client's networking: warm contacts first, then people at target companies and recruiters, then hiring managers
- Run outbound outreach in the client's voice (LinkedIn, Dripify) and start the conversations; hand warm ones to the client and coach them on what to say next
- Check every client's LinkedIn inbox daily and answer every reply; nothing a hiring manager sends sits unanswered
- Keep clients accountable for follow-up and track connections, responses, meetings and next steps so you always know where each client stands
- Keep the program moving:

coach sessions booked, resume, LinkedIn and pitch deck delivered on schedule, status logged in our CRM, and risks flagged before they become problems
- Write client updates that are short, specific and honest, including when the news isn't good
- Ask your client for what we need from them, and push coaches and specialists when something is late
- Find roles that match each client's targeting and submit tailored applications (3-5 per client per week) using our tools

How we work

Ownership, not oversight: you anticipate what's needed and follow through without being asked. Feedback given clearly and received with curiosity. Decisions based on data, not busyness. We try things, learn fast, and keep moving. And we take care of people, because that's the whole point.

What you need to have

- 2-3+ years in a client-facing role where you owned the relationship: account management, client success, sales, recruiting or coaching. We need to see that you were the person a client relied on
- English C1 or above, written and spoken, and we test both: every message goes to a US executive or a hiring manager, most of it under your client's name, and you'll speak with clients and hiring managers directly

- Comfortable in the tech stack and quick to pick up new tools: Google Docs and Sheets daily, Slack, a CRM, AI tools
- Based in Colombia or Mexico

Who does well here

- Cares whether the client lands the role, not just whether the task got done
- Understands that networking is relationship first: you don't open with "are you hiring?"
- Comfortable coaching a senior professional through something they find awkward, and holding them to it
- Sharp on detail; never invents a fact, a number or a credential
- Organized and self-directed across several clients at once
- Steady: consistent daily execution when replies are slow
- Discreet; you're writing under someone else's name, about their career

Helpful but not required: experience with the US corporate hiring process (recruiting, career coaching, or having run your own senior-level job search in the US); experience with US clients or companies; CRM experience (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce); remote work with international teams.

Compensation and logistics

- $2,000 USD/month base, paid in USD, plus commissions: $20 per interview and $40 per offer that result from your outreach or applications
- Full-time independent contractor agreement with a US company
- Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm local time
- 10 days PTO plus selected holidays
- Fully remote. The Medellín team meets in person one day a month and for the week our CEO visits each quarter; if you're local, you're welcome to join

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,139.72 per month
