Kyungshin Cable Mexico is a leading company in the automotive wiring harness industry, specializing in the manufacturing of high-quality wiring harnesses and components for the automotive sector.

We are looking for an experienced ASSY Quality Jr. Manager to join our team in Gómez Palacio, Durango.

This position will be responsible for leading and strengthening our Quality Management System, ensuring product and process quality, customer satisfaction, compliance with automotive quality standards, and the continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations.

We are looking for a quality leader with proven experience in automotive wiring harness manufacturing, strong knowledge of automotive quality systems and Core Tools, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.

Location: Gómez Palacio, Durango, Mexico

Work arrangement: On-site

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).
- Ensure product and process quality throughout all manufacturing stages, from incoming inspection through final assembly, electrical testing, and shipment.
- Coordinate and lead internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits, ensuring effective follow-up and closure of findings.
- Serve as the main quality interface with customers, leading the resolution of customer complaints, corrective actions, and quality improvement plans.
- Monitor and improve internal and external quality KPIs, driving defect prevention, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities, ensuring effective implementation and validation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage supplier quality performance, including supplier evaluations, audits, containment actions, and corrective action plans.




- Lead quality activities for APQP, PPAP, new product launches, and engineering changes (ECN/ECR).
- Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of Control Plans, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and applicable Core Tools.
- Lead and develop the Quality team, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of departmental objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Quality leadership positions within the automotive industry.
- Previous experience in automotive wiring harness manufacturing is mandatory.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).
- Advanced knowledge and practical experience with AIAG Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
- Experience with 8D Problem Solving, Control Plans, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience coordinating internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits.
- Knowledge of applicable CQIs, engineering change management (ECN/ECR), and GD&T;.
- Proven experience in team management, leadership, planning, and cross-functional coordination.
