We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager based in Mexico to lead market expansion, talent acquisition, and community growth for Somatch. In this role, you will play a key part in growing our live streaming ecosystem, managing social media channels, and expanding our creator network.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategic growth plans (online and offline) tailored for the market.
- Creator Recruitment: Actively identify, recruit, and onboard streamers and content creators through social media, livestreaming platforms, networking, and community outreach.
- Community & Brand Expansion: Explore localized business development opportunities to strengthen brand influence and creator ecosystems.
- Social Media & Content Strategy: Manage and optimize social media accounts to enhance audience reach, engagement, and brand credibility.
- Creator Enablement: Conduct training sessions for streamers/creators, regularly upgrading training materials and operational methodologies.
- Market Insights:
Monitor local market trends, competitor movements, and user behavior to provide actionable recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with international cross-functional teams to align with integral expansion goals.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: Experience in creator economy, live streaming, social platforms, agency operations, community growth, or business development is a strong plus.
- Cultural Nuance: Strong understanding of social media culture and online communities.
- Execution & Adaptability: Fast learner with a result-oriented mindset and strong execution capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent cross-cultural communication and coordination skills across different time zones.
- On-Camera Comfort: Comfortable appearing on livestreams or social media content for recruiting and branding purposes.
- Technical Setup: Reliable high-speed internet connection and a consistent remote work setup.
