Qualifications

- Strong skills in database administration, including configuration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.

- Experience in database development and database design to support scalable, secure, and efficient applications.

- Proficiency in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical models for transactional and analytical systems.

- Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools to integrate and transform data across systems.

- Working knowledge of SQL and at least one major relational database platform (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).

- Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance best practices.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with cloud database services and automation/scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
