Backend Developer

MISSION

- We are seeking a Backend Developer with strong Node.js expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services. This role is responsible for enabling seamless system integrations, optimizing data processing, and ensuring platform reliability, supporting exceptional user experiences and business-critical applications..

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Rust, Node.js, and TypeScript, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security across distributed systems.
- Architect and implement event-driven and microservices-based solutions, integrating databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis, while optimizing application scalability and concurrency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance production environments through observability, logging, metrics, tracing, and proactive performance tuning, ensuring maximum system availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software by leveraging Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

PROFILE

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications and APIs using Rust, Node.js, and TypeScript, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.




- Architect and implement distributed systems and event-driven solutions, applying best practices in software architecture, design patterns, and asynchronous programming.
- Build, integrate, and optimize services leveraging PostgreSQL, Redis, and other relational or NoSQL databases to support business-critical applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance production systems through performance tuning, observability, logging, metrics, tracing, and root cause analysis.
- Drive software quality by implementing automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and collaborative development workflows using Git.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document, communicate, and deliver technical solutions, taking ownership of projects from design through deployment in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with AI accelerated engineering workflows and processes, spec driven development. (AI clarification - hands-on experience in building agents and agentic workflows)
- Experience integrating with third party systems and API.
- Experience building LLM solutions.
