We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a precision manufacturing company based in Querétaro. This is a high-impact technical role involving the design of complex electrical architectures, control schematics, component selection, international regulatory compliance, and functional safety validation. It is not a quiet desk job—it’s leading from the control panel.

Design and validate complex electrical systems for automated precision machinery, ensuring compliance with international standards (EN ISO 13849, EN 60204-1, ISO 12100) and corporate quality standards.

? Key Responsibilities

- Design electrical schematics for PLC-controlled machinery (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
- Select and size complex electrical components (cables, protection devices, transformers)
- Design and validate control panels with complex logic
- Apply functional safety standards (EN ISO 13849-1, Performance Level) across all projects
- Generate technical specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and documentation for manufacturing and commissioning




- Collaborate with the engineering team to adapt and tropicalize US/UK designs for Mexican operations
- Validate local (NOM, FIDE) and international standards (UL, CE, UKCA)
- Review designs from junior engineers and mentor them on technical best practices

✅ Requirements (Must-Have)

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field (graduated/degree obtained)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial machinery electrical design
- Intermediate level or higher in electrical schematic design using AutoCAD Electrical
- Intermediate level in electrical calculations (load, cables, protection)
- Solid understanding and experience with PLC-controlled machinery
- Proven B2 fluent English level
- On-site availability in Querétaro

⭐ Nice-to-Have

- Knowledge of EN ISO 13849-1 or SISTEMA (Performance Level)
- Experience with Autodesk Vault or PLM systems
- Experience with UL, CE, and UKCA standards
- Familiarity with EPLAN or Siemens TIA Portal
- Valid passport and US Visa
