Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in San Luis Potosí, SLP. This role is responsible for designing and developing motors and compressors both single speed and variable speed for washing machines and refrigerators, including creating schematics, layouts, and technical documentation that meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day activities include collaborating with cross-functional teams in mechanical design, manufacturing, and quality to integrate electrical designs into new and existing products, as well as participating in design reviews and product validation.

The Electrical Design

Engineer will analyze electrical performance, troubleshoot design issues,



and propose improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, contributes to standardization of electrical design practices, and works closely with manufacturing teams and departments to implement product changes into production.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and component specifications.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply fundamental principles to appliance and system design.
- Candidates should have proficiency with CAD tools and electrical design software, as well as familiarity with relevant international and local electrical standards.
- Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and have experience in product development or manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should have effective written and verbal communication skills in a professional engineering context; proficiency in Spanish and English is beneficial.
- Experience in home appliances or consumer electronics, and knowledge of reliability testing and design for manufacturability, are considered a plus.
