Techno-Functional Business Analyst – Databricks

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong experience working with Databricks and managing business and technical stakeholders. The adecuado candidate should be able to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical teams, understand data platforms, and translate business needs into clear technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Work closely with business, product, data engineering, and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Demonstrate hands-on understanding of Databricks and modern data platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, workflows, and business processes.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications .
- Work with data engineering teams to understand data pipelines, transformations, data quality, and integration requirements.
- Participate in requirement workshops, solution discussions, sprint planning, and stakeholder meetings.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track requirements, dependencies, risks, issues, and project deliverables.
- Support UAT , including test scenarios, validation, defect clarification,



and business sign-off.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Techno-Functional Business Analyst .
- Strong experience working with Databricks .
- Experience working with business and technical stakeholders .
- Strong understanding of data platforms, data flows, and data engineering concepts.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical/functional requirements.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria .
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to work effectively with Data Engineers, Developers, Product Owners, and business teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with SQL and ability to perform basic data analysis/validation.
- Experience with Azure/AWS cloud environments.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses .
- Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
- Experience working with large-scale data transformation or modernization initiatives.
