? Mid-Senior level

❗ Permanent contract with minimum 1-year consultancy assignment

About MyData-TRUST

MyData-TRUST delivers specialised data protection and compliance services tailored for the Life Sciences sector ensuring adherence to international privacy frameworks.

With a multidisciplinary team of legal, IT, and industry experts, the MDT translates regulatory complexities into tailored operational processes for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare organisations worldwide.

? About the role

We are looking for a Privacy Specialist to join the Privacy function of an international organisation operating in a highly regulated environment.

Depending on experience and expertise, we are open to considering candidates at Junior or Senior level.

This is initially a one-year consultancy assignment starting in January 2027, with the potential for the assignment to be extended or, depending on business needs and opportunities, for the position to transition into an internal role.

The position will work closely with the Regional Privacy Officer for North America and, where relevant, the Regional Privacy Officer for LATAM, supporting privacy initiatives and compliance activities in Mexico.

? Your responsibilities

- Provide hands-on privacy support to local business teams and functions in Mexico.
- Support business initiatives and projects from a privacy perspective.
- Help ensure compliance with applicable local and international privacy requirements.
- Support the implementation of the privacy programme at local level.
- Support privacy initiatives from end to end, from identifying requirements and risks through to implementation and follow-up.
- Provide practical privacy guidance to local stakeholders.

- Support the implementation and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures, tools and templates.
- Support privacy compliance activities and documentation.
- Contribute to the identification and remediation of privacy risks.
- Work closely with the Regional Privacy Officer for North America and, where applicable, LATAM privacy stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global and regional privacy teams in an international environment.

? About you

We are looking for a privacy professional with hands-on experience supporting business projects and privacy compliance.

Depending on the level of the position, you may be considered with different levels of experience. However, a solid understanding of US privacy requirements is essential.

You should have

- Good knowledge of US privacy laws and regulatory requirements.
- Practical experience applying US privacy requirements in a business environment.
- Experience supporting business projects, privacy compliance or privacy governance.
- The ability to work with business stakeholders and translate privacy requirements into practical actions.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with regional and global privacy teams.
- Experience in an international or regulated environment is an advantage.
- Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare,

Pharma or another highly regulated industry would be an advantage.

For a Senior-level profile, we would additionally expect demonstrated autonomy in advising business stakeholders, managing privacy initiatives and handling privacy matters end to end.

For a Junior-level profile, we are open to candidates with a strong foundation in privacy law and relevant practical experience who are looking to further develop their expertise in an international environment.

? Location & working model The role can be performed primarily remotely. However, proximity to Mexico City is strongly preferred, as the role may transition into an internal position following the initial consultancy assignment, in which case a minimum of two days per week in the office would be expected.

Occasional travel may also be required depending on business needs.

Candidates based in or within reasonable commuting distance of Mexico City are therefore particularly encouraged to apply.

? Assignment

- Contract type: Permanent contract with competitive compensation and various benefits
- Initial consultancy duration: 12 months
- Start date: January 2027
- Next step: Extension of the consultancy assignment or transition to an internal position, depending on business needs and opportunities.
- Adaptable and innovative company culture
- International exposure and continuous training opportunities

If you are looking for an opportunity to develop or further apply your privacy expertise in an international and regulated environment, we would be interested in hearing from you.

? Diversity & Inclusion

At MyData-TRUST, we are committed to creating an inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone has equal opportunities to grow and succeed.

? Interested? Apply now or share this opportunity with your network!
