Role Description The Quality Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Querétaro, Mexico. This role is responsible for monitoring and improving product and process quality, including defining quality standards, conducting inspections, and analyzing quality data to identify trends and root causes.

The Quality

Engineer collaborates with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement corrective and preventive actions, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements. Daily activities include managing quality documentation, supporting audits, handling nonconformities, and communicating with stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.



The role also contributes to new product introductions by validating quality plans and ensuring robust quality controls are in place.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Quality Engineering, including methods, tools, and data analysis relevant to manufacturing environments.
- Experience in Quality Control activities such as inspections, measurements, testing, and monitoring of production processes.
- Background in Quality Assurance, including development and maintenance of procedures, standards, and compliance with quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Ability to manage Product Quality, including customer requirements, specifications, and resolution of product-related quality issues.
- Knowledge of Quality Management principles, including continuous improvement, corrective and preventive actions, and use of problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis, FMEA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in quality within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency with statistical quality tools, measurement systems, and relevant software (e.g., Excel, quality databases, SPC tools).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and interface with customers and suppliers.
- Organized, detail-oriented work style and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
