Part-Time | Approx. 20 Hours/Week | 100% Remote | Flexible Schedule

We are seeking an experienced Painting Estimator / Plan Takeoff Specialist to work remotely for a painting contractor based in Florida, USA.

This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week with a adaptable work schedule. We care more about accuracy, communication, and meeting deadlines than working a traditional fixed schedule.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret architectural and construction plans
- Complete detailed painting takeoffs
- Calculate square footage, linear footage, walls, ceilings, doors, frames, trim, and other painting quantities
- Calculate paint and material requirements
- Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Prepare accurate, professional estimates and proposals
- Communicate with customers, general contractors, and project contacts by phone and email
- Follow up on bids, questions, and proposal revisions
- Manage multiple estimates and consistently meet bid deadlines
- Maintain organized estimating and project records

Qualifications
- Previous experience with painting or construction takeoffs is required
- Strong knowledge of quantities, measurements, and paint calculations
- Ability to accurately read architectural plans and specifications
- Experience preparing estimates and proposals




- Excellent time-management skills and strong ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written and spoken English
- Comfortable communicating with U.S.-based customers and contractors
- Detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Reliable computer and high-speed internet
- Experience with takeoff or estimating software is strongly preferred

Position Details
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- 100% remote
- Flexible work schedule
- Applicant may be located anywhere in Mexico; you do not need to live in Mexico City
- Some availability during Florida business hours will be needed for customer and team communication
- Meeting estimating and proposal deadlines is essential

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands construction plans, takeoffs, quantities, and painting calculations and can work independently.
