Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Cutover Manager to lead and coordinate the planning and execution of SAP cutover activities associated with implementation, migration, transformation, or rollout initiatives.

The Cutover Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the overall cutover strategy and plan, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring a controlled transition into the new SAP production environment.

This role will work closely with SAP functional and technical teams, business stakeholders, project leadership, infrastructure, data migration, testing, integration, and external vendors to ensure a successful Go-Live .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the overall SAP Cutover Strategy and Cutover Plan .
- Coordinate all activities required to transition from the existing environment to the new SAP solution.
- Lead cutover planning sessions, readiness reviews, mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, and Go-Live activities .
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP Functional, SAP Basis/Technical, Data Migration, Integration, Infrastructure, Security,



Testing, and Business teams.
- Define activity sequences, dependencies, owners, timelines, and critical milestones.
- Track cutover readiness and identify risks, issues, dependencies, and potential blockers.
- Coordinate Go/No-Go readiness assessments with project and business leadership.
- Manage the execution of the cutover plan during the Go-Live window.
- Ensure appropriate rollback, contingency, and recovery plans are defined and understood.
- Coordinate final data migration, system freeze, validation, and production readiness activities.
- Provide regular status updates to project leadership and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate post-Go-Live activities and transition into Hypercare .
- Ensure all cutover activities are properly documented and completed.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP projects , implementations, migrations, transformations, or rollouts.
- Proven experience leading or managing SAP Cutover / Go-Live activities .
- Experience developing and executing detailed Cutover Plans .
- Experience coordinating multiple technical and functional teams.
- Strong understanding of SAP implementation and/or migration project lifecycles.
- Experience with Go-Live, Hypercare, Data Migration, System Freeze, Validation, and Go/No-Go processes .
- Strong project coordination, communication,



and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, dependencies, and competing priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
- Strong risk and issue management capabilities.
- English proficiency , both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
- Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations/upgrades .
- Experience with large-scale SAP transformations or global rollouts.
- Experience managing mock cutovers / dress rehearsals .
- Experience working with SAP Basis, data migration, integration, and infrastructure teams.
- Experience with SAP RISE / cloud environments .
- PMP, PRINCE2, SAP certifications, or similar project management certifications.
