About the Position

At Krasamo, we are looking for an Embedded Engineer to join our team on-site in Aguascalientes, Mexico. This is a hands-on role focused on developing, debugging, testing, and integrating firmware and embedded systems for IoT devices and connected products.

The idóneo candidate should have experience in firmware development and embedded systems, strong proficiency in C and C++, and a solid understanding of memory management, ARM-based microcontrollers, RTOS environments, and IoT communication protocols.

The selected candidate will be involved in:

● Designing, programming, and debugging modular firmware for IoT devices.

● Configuring and implementing tasks, queues, and semaphores within RTOS environments.

● Working with RTOS technologies such as Zephyr or FreeRTOS.

● Integrating MQTT protocols for secure telemetry and data transmission.

● Developing and working with ARM-based microcontrollers.





● Working with IoT communication protocols and hardware interfaces.

● Performing on-board testing using debuggers and laboratory tools.

● Troubleshooting firmware and embedded system issues.

● Collaborating directly with hardware engineers on embedded product development.

● Integrating end-to-end embedded features with cloud teams.

Requirements

● 3-5 years of experience in firmware development and embedded systems.

● Proficiency in C and C++, with a focus on efficient resource and memory management.

● Experience working with RTOS environments such as Zephyr or FreeRTOS.

● Knowledge of ARM-based microcontrollers.

● Experience with IoT communication protocols and hardware interfaces.

● Understanding of embedded systems development, debugging, and testing.

● Experience working with tasks, queues, and semaphores in RTOS environments.

● Ability to perform on-board testing using debuggers and laboratory tools.

● Ability to collaborate effectively with hardware and cloud engineering teams.

● Advanced English level (C1).

● Willingness to work on-site in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Nice to Have

● Experience developing firmware for IoT and connected devices.

● Experience with MQTT and telemetry systems.

● Experience working with ARM-based embedded platforms.

● Experience with Zephyr or FreeRTOS.

● Familiarity with embedded communication protocols and hardware interfaces.

● Experience with debugging tools and laboratory equipment.

● Understanding of cloud integration for connected and IoT devices.

● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to collaborate closely with hardware, software, and cloud engineering teams.

● Passion for embedded systems, IoT, firmware development, and connected product engineering.
