Role: Server Monitoring Analyst
Location Remote (Mexico or Brazil)
Duration 6+ Months The candidates should have practical knowledge and experience in:
- Windows Server administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Physical and virtual server infrastructure
- VMware ESXi or comparable virtualization technologies
- Monitoring CPU, memory, disk utilization, services, event logs, hardware status, and system availability
- Server patching, reboot validation, and investigation of operating system issues
- Basic Linux server monitoring and troubleshooting
- PowerShell or another scripting language for troubleshooting, reporting, and repetitive operational checks
- Server and infrastructure monitoring tools such as SCOM, Zabbix, SolarWinds, HPE OneView, or equivalent
- Incident management, technical escalation, and documentation in ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform
- Working in a shift-based monitoring and operational support environment The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-resolution skills, with the ability to validate alerts, investigate infrastructure health, collect technical evidence, and escalate incidents with complete context.
Knowledge and practical experience in networking will be considered a strong advantage. This includes TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and troubleshooting local or end-to-end connectivity issues.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in server and client technologies combined with sufficient networking knowledge to identify whether an issue originates from the operating system, virtualization platform, storage,
backup infrastructure, network, firewall, or another dependent service.

Responsibilities within the Role
- Monitor and support day-to-day server, virtualization, storage, and backup operations.
- Investigate, validate, and escalate server and infrastructure-related alerts and incidents.
- Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for OT server and client platform incidents.
- Ensure incidents are properly documented, routed, and tracked to resolution.
- Support system availability, performance monitoring, patching, and operational maintenance activities.
- Proactively contributes to service improvements, problem management, and monitoring optimization.
- Support infrastructure projects, implementations, and operational readiness activities.
- Work closely with servers, network, security, and local support teams to minimize service interruptions.
- Candidates with knowledge of both Server/Client and Networking technologies will be highly preferred. The adecuado candidate combines deep expertise in one area with practical troubleshooting skills across the broader infrastructure stack.
