Demand Strategist

Position Overview

Farahi Law Firm is an award-winning personal injury firm dedicated to fighting for the injured and delivering exceptional legal representation. We are a fast-growing, client-centric team that values aggressive advocacy, innovation, and community impact. We are seeking a sharp, analytical, and client-focused Pre-Litigation Demand Strategist to join the pre-litigation department. In this highly strategic role, you will not just be processing cases — you will be the architect behind them. You will review case files, analyze complex medical-legal data, and design comprehensive demand strategies aimed at maximizing case value and settlement returns. Working collaboratively with our demand writing team, you will ensure every demand package is a compelling, medically sound narrative, while mentoring demand staff and serving as a crucial touchpoint for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Case Strategy & Valuation

- Strategic Blueprinting: evaluate incoming pre-litigation files to identify strengths, weaknesses, and unique angles to maximize settlement value.

- Medical-Legal Analysis: dive deep into medical records, imaging reports, and billing histories to draw clear correlations between the incident and the client's injuries.

- Value Optimization: formulate precise settlement targets and negotiation parameters based on liability factors, policy limits, and injury severity.

Demand Team Collaboration & Mentorship

- Mentorship & Training: actively mentor the demand writing team through workshops and one-on-one reviews, teaching writers to spot medical-legal nuances and anticipate adjuster counter-arguments.

- Drafting Oversight:

provide the demand writing team with the strategic framework and legal arguments needed to craft aggressive, persuasive demand letters.

- Quality Control: review and refine demand packages before submission, using reviews as coaching opportunities.

Client Counseling & Communication

- Strategy Translation: meet with clients to explain the proposed case strategy under managing attorneys' guidance.

- Expectation Management: provide realistic, empathetic, and transparent updates regarding case timelines, potential outcomes, and medical lien impacts.

- Buy-In & Support: guide clients through the shared strategy, ensuring they feel supported and confident in the firm's direction.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Extensive, hands-on experience in the personal injury field (e.g., Senior Paralegal, Pre-Litigation Manager, Law Student or Law Graduate/J.D.), with a heavy emphasis on pre-litigation, case valuation, and demand drafting. Being a licensed attorney is not required, but deep field experience is mandatory.

- Deep understanding of medical terminology, injury causation, standard PI treatment protocols, and medical billing practices.

- Highly analytical thinker capable of diagnosing complex liability and damages issues to build airtight claims.

Key Competencies (Soft Skills)

- Analytical problem solver who excels at finding value where others might miss it.

- Empowering educator who is passionate about upskilling support staff to build a self-sufficient, critically thinking team.

- Exceptional communicator who can pivot from debating complex medical codes with a demand writer to explaining the process empathetically to an injured client.

- Detail-oriented, understanding that a single overlooked detail can drastically change a case's value.
