General Description
Develops, implements, and maintains the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System. Leads internal and external audits, coordinates action plans, and ensures the closure of findings. Ensures compliance with applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental laws and regulations.
Experience and Education
Industrial, Environmental, Chemical-Biological Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience working in EHS.
Experience managing personnel.
English.
Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications
Development, investigation, leadership, and project management.
Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety legislation.
Experience managing permits and requirements with government agencies (JMAS, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, SDUE, Civil Protection, SEGOB, etc.).
Internal Auditor ISO 45001, 9001, 18001.
5 years of experience with HSE Management Systems.
Statistical knowledge of Lean tools.
Ergonomics and safe operation of machinery and equipment.
Leader and facilitator in accident and incident processes.
Key Responsibilities




Lead a team to ensure the implementation of programs and activities related to health, safety, and environment.
Act as a business partner, as applicable, across different areas and departments of the company.
Develop and promote strategies aimed at improving indicators to provide a safe environment and reduce environmental impact.
Maintain site and corporate metrics and report them according to the requirements of different meetings and departments.
Verify compliance with health, safety, and environmental programs.
Attend and support inspections from government representatives and agencies, including SEMARNAT, JMAS, STPS, PROFEPA, SDUE, and Civil Protection.
Ensure compliance with internal and external audits and the closure of corrective actions resulting from them.
