About the Role:
This role will be a key member of the finance team, directly supporting the senior finance accountants and contributing to compliance and integrity of accounting and tax compliance.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibility: Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and US GAAP, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Prepare, review, and ensure compliance of invoices and their electronic payment receipts according to Mexican Tax Laws, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Serve as support for both customer and internal inquiries, providing follow-up on accounting matters.
Collaborate on preparing responses to tax authorities’ invitations.
Prepare tax reports and files to support tax refunds.
Electronic accounting filing.
Retrieving Compliance Letters from local authorities (SAT, INFONAVIT and IMSS).
Support Finance senior accountant to prepare working papers for Annual Income Tax returns.




Follow- up with insurance companies to retrieve warranties and finalize administrative processes.
Support statutory audits, ensuring necessary documentation is prepared and available.
Audit travel expense reports in compliance with Mexican tax laws, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations and company policies.
Prepare meaningful accounting reports that provide insights into financial performance and assist in the decision-making process.
Utilize mid-level Excel tools, pivot tables and formulas, to streamline processes.
Maintain and enhance knowledge of Oracle Financials and other relevant accounting systems, ensuring effective utilization in daily operations.
Perform other related tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Strong experience in US GAAP and MEX GAAP.
Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in Financial Accounting with a focus on general accounting and
