We at Coforge are hiring Position (17739-PE-MX-TM2-5) with the following skill
set.
As a member of the Release Engineering team, you will define and support release
processes and tools that enables teams to release mission critical services. You
will work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment. You will influence
strategy and direction of our infrastructure by helping us build scalable
solutions to challenging technical problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work closely with Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, QA and Test
Automation teams to collaborate
* Work closely with various engineering managers across multiple
cross-functional teams to handle Bi-weekly Production releases
* Develop self-service tools for engineers to automatically deploy changes to
Production with automated quality controls, thereby enabling faster software
delivery
* Versátil working with Rest API frameworks (Specifically Jenkins, Github, JIRA
and Confluence APIs)
* Work with DevOps team to migrate applications from Datacenter to Amazon Web
Services (AWS)
* Automate the Software Release and Compliance processes wherever necessary
* Troubleshooting proficiency. (Builds, Deployments, connectivity etc...)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 4 – 5 years working in an enterprise software organization
* 3+ years real world experience with Release Management discipline and
processes
* Excellent knowledge with GitHub, support with git PR merge, pull, sync,
etc... issues.
* Jenkins: managing jenkins jobs / jenkins pipeline DSLs
* Nice to have: Python scripting
* Excellent facilitation, organization and collaboration skills
* Possess knowledge in SDLC methodologies, Agile preferre
* Good understanding of Microservices, Serverless/EKS and API Driven
Architecture
* Effective team player with the ability to influence and negotiate
* Ability to manage
