Description
Amazon's Global Direct Imports team is seeking an experienced Instock Manager who independently owns end-to-end supply chain performance—from manufacturer through fulfillment center availability—for a high-growth, strategically critical import program. This role requires translating complex data analysis into actionable insights that drive category-level decisions, while developing and executing inventory management strategies that optimize customer experience, sales, and margin across multiple vendors and geographies.

Direct Imports is a strategic initiative with long-term business impact and triple-digit YoY growth. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of independence in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, partnering cross-functionally with Operations, General Logistics, Supply Chain Technology, Retail, and Finance teams—as well as external vendors—to identify, prioritize, and deliver supply chain improvements. The scope includes Hardlines and/or Consumables categories across emerging marketplaces.

This individual demonstrates strong business judgment, anticipates trade-offs, and influences vendor operational performance while managing multiple concurrent projects. They bring deep analytical acumen, translate operational strategy into day-to-day decisions, and confidently present data-backed recommendations to senior leadership. They thrive in ambiguity, exercise sound judgment when new data emerges, and quickly course-correct to deliver results.

The ideal candidate builds scalable solutions, adapts frameworks to solve problems in unique ways, and drives continuous improvement across the import supply chain. They serve as a key point of contact between Retail, supply chain, and vendors—educating partners on operational requirements and influencing performance outcomes through data and relationship management.

This position is based in Amazon's Mexico City office.
