Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain.

The Work Model For The Role Is
This role is contributing to the
Electrification HSE team in Apodaca.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Conduct thorough reviews of applicable federal, state, and local HSE regulations (e.g., SEMARNAT,



STPS, PROFEPA in Mexico). Ensure site operations are compliant through gap analyses, legal registers, and periodic audits.
- Perform detailed risk assessments using methodologies. Develop and implement targeted action plans to eliminate or mitigate identified risks, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and safety culture goals.
- Lead and support Management of Change (MoC) processes. Ensure that changes in equipment, processes, materials, or personnel are evaluated for HSE impacts. Facilitate risk assessments, documentation updates, and training to maintain compliance and prevent unintended consequences.
- Coordinate and conduct investigations of incidents, near misses, and unsafe behaviors. Use structured methodologies to identify contributing factors and root causes. Document findings clearly and develop corrective actions that address systemic issues.
