They are looking for an Senior Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for leading aspects of the accounting function at the the Corporate entity that provides Shared Services to Brands in the Stagwell network.



Shared Services provides services to Brands for Accounting, Financial Operations (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll), Business Applications, IT and Real Estate. This person will report to the Stagwell Core Brand Accounting Manager and provide monthly financial results analysis to each head of Shared Services functions.
Balance sheet account reconciliation. Prepare general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accuracy within the GL account.
Work with Staff Accountants to reconcile all bank accounts monthly.
Assist in aggregating and recording month end expense accruals.
Research and propose recommended solutions to open items on balance sheet reconciliations.
Support month end ancillary package and hyperion trial balance uploads.
Assist with internal and external audits as required.
