Maintains customer relations, handles customer issues and utilizes systems to process data.
Responds to customer needs regarding account status, technical product application and warranty claims.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:Engages with customers concerning new and existing purchase orders or quotes, documenting any changes.
Keeps all customer records and information updated and accurate.Prepares customer product expectation/price quotations.
Enters and acknowledges customer orders.
Maintains Customer due dates on orders.
Maintain shipping schedule and information.Coordinates product shipments with internal departments including but not limited to scheduling, production, warehouse, and financeDocuments and resolves customer issues and complaints regarding order status, warranties, damage, freight claims, credits, special invoices,



and any other issues utilizing appropriate systemsUnderstands and applies quality standards applicable to the position and maintains standard operating procedures in document control filesStays abreast of customer orders and maintains related information to ensure timely and accurate production and shipment of productObtains product and application knowledge in order to address customer needs and promote sales of new or additional servicesIssues invoices and credits, assuming alignment with finance department; apply to customers' supplier portals as requiredOrders management within customers' supplier portals; may include accepting or rejecting ordersEngages with customer accounts payable department to resolve any past due invoices, assuming alignment with finance departmentProcesses and provides commercial invoices and customs documentation for international shipmentsCreates reports and correspondence for customer and department use, miscellaneous clerical functions, including typing, filing, data entry, answering telephones, covering for other personnel within the department in their absencePrepares Customer reports needed on sales activitiesQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
