Job Details: Job Location: Ramos Arizpe - Ramos Arizpe, CH, Salary Range: Undisclosed, We are seeking an experienced Import/Export Compliance & Cross-Border Logistics Specialist to lead and manage the movement of chemicals, raw materials, polymers, additives, and finished products between the United States and Mexico. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with US and Mexican customs regulations, hazardous materials transportation regulations, trade compliance requirements, and cross-border logistics operations while optimizing cost, service, reliability, and supply chain continuity.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Manage all US and Mexico import/export compliance activities for raw materials, chemicals, additives, polymers, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable US and Mexican customs regulations, trade laws, hazardous materials regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Oversee HTS classification, country of origin determinations, customs valuation, duty optimization, and free trade agreement qualification.




• Manage USMCA qualification and certification processes.
• Manage day-to-day cross-border logistics operations between the US and Mexico.
• Coordinate truck, rail, intermodal, ocean, and air shipments as required.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous materials transportation regulations including 49 CFR, IMDG, and IATA.
• Understand requirements for Safety Data Sheets (SDS), known locally as Hojas de Datos de Seguridad (HDS; must comply with NOM-018-STPS-2015, following a 16-section GHS format in Spanish); notion of interpretation.
