At AstraZeneca, we are seeking an accomplished Medical Affairs leader to define and execute the Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism, CVRM, medical strategy for Mexico.

As Therapeutic Area Lead, CVRM, you will serve as the country’s senior scientific reference for the therapeutic area,



lead a multidisciplinary medical team and influence strategic decisions across the organization. You will translate scientific evidence and portfolio priorities into medical initiatives that support patients, healthcare professionals and the wider healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute the CVRM medical strategy and plans for Mexico.
• Provide senior scientific and strategic leadership across the therapeutic area.
• Lead evidence-generation initiatives, scientific projects and portfolio medical readiness.
• Build trusted relationships with scientific leaders, healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders.
• Partner with Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety, Compliance, Commercial and Marketing.
• Lead, develop and retain a team of approximately ten medical and scientific professionals.
