As a Mech Design Engr II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions that meet stringent aerospace standards. You will apply your expertise in mechanical design principles and utilize advanced CAD tools to support the creation of high-quality, reliable aerospace components and systems.

You will report directly to our Senior Mechanical Design Manager, part of Aerospace Engineering and Technology, Control Systems (CS) organization, and you’ll work out of our Mexicali, Mexico location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies that drive the performance and success of Honeywell Aerospace products, contributing to safer and more efficient aviation technologies.

Responsibilities
• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies according to specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Support results presented in design reviews with the appropriate documentation to meet program deliverables and requirements.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies relevant to aerospace applications
• Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO or NX, and experience with mechanical analysis and simulatio
