Process Engineer (Production Sample Line)
As a Process Engineer – Production Sample Line, you will play a critical role in the successful introduction of new products by serving as the technical owner of manufacturing processes for prototypes, customer samples, engineering builds, pilot runs, and NPI products prior to mass production. You will have the opportunity to transform product concepts into manufacturable solutions, ensuring process readiness, manufacturing feasibility, high quality, and rapid execution while helping accelerate successful product launches.
Our Team
You will be part of a cross-functional NPI organization that works closely with Product Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Test Engineering, Tooling, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams. Together, we focus on building robust manufacturing processes, mitigating risks, and ensuring new products are successfully transferred into mass production.
What You Will Do
- Define and validate manufacturing processes for prototypes, customer samples, pilot builds, and new product introductions.

- Develop manufacturing flows, routing structures, process sequences, and standard work instructions.
- Ensure build readiness by coordinating materials, tooling, equipment, testing resources, and production planning activities.
- Provide hands‑on manufacturing floor support during prototype builds, customer samples, engineering validations, and production readiness activities.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point during build execution and process‑related issues.
- Lead root cause analysis activities using structured problem‑solving methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree, 8D, and CAPA)
- Drive corrective actions that improve process stability, manufacturing performance, and product quality.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, process instructions, PFMEAs, Control Plans, build reports, and lessons learned.
- Validate process capability, tooling readine
