Key Responsibilities:
Act as Accounts Payable point of contact for the assigned plant(s), owning the processing of their supplier invoices.
Process domestic and foreign supplier invoices in SAP (S/4HANA), including validation, coding, and posting of PO and non-PO invoices (e.g., MIRO, FB60).
Validate domestic invoices (CFDI 4.0) against SAT requirements before posting: RFC, tax regime, CFDI use, payment method (PUE/PPD), and consistency between XML, PDF, and purchase order.
Apply the correct tax treatment to domestic invoices, including IVA (VAT) and IVA/ISR withholdings where applicable.
Monitor and resolve invoice verification exceptions and blocked invoices (price and quantity differences, missing goods receipts), working closely with Purchasing and Logistics at the plants.
Follow up on payment complements (Complemento de Pago / REP) for PPD invoices, as well as credit notes and CFDI cancellations.
Check suppliers against SAT lists (e.g., Article 69-B / EFOS) and escalate any compliance risks.
Prepare payment proposals while working closely together with Treasury.




Manage vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Perform month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable (e.g., accruals, closing of subledgers, and reconciliations) and provide supporting information for tax reporting (e.g., DIOT).
Perform account maintenance (e.g., open-item clearing, GR/IR analysis).
Collaborate with the global SSC team to continuously improve AP processes and support automation initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation, archiving (XML/PDF), and audit trails for all AP transactions in line with SAT record-keeping requirements.

Qualifications:
BA or BS degree in Accounting (Contaduría Pública), Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a multinational company, manufacturing/automotive, or SSC environment.
Hands-on SAP experience (required): invoice processing in FI/MM (MIRO, FB60, MIR4/MRBR, FBL1N); S/4HANA experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of Mexican tax and invoicing regulations (required): CFDI 4.0, IVA, IVA/ISR withholdings, payment complements, and SAT validation requirements.
Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables).
Intermediate to advanced English, to work with general SSC and Treasury teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
