Salesforce Technical Lead (Hybrid, 3 days per week in Mérida, MX office)

Saltbox Mgmt is hiring a Salesforce Technical Lead who will architect, lead, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions across complex client engagements, combining deep technical expertise, leadership, and client collaboration to drive successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Define and own scalable end-to-end Salesforce solution architectures aligned to business objectives, technical requirements, and Customer Success.
Lead discovery, solution design, architecture reviews, and implementation planning, identifying gaps between current and future-state processes and systems.
Demonstrate Ownership & Accountability by taking responsibility for technical decisions, proactively identifying risks and blockers, following through on commitments, and driving issues through resolution.
Partner with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders, Developers, and customers to drive successful delivery, strengthen relationships, and build Trust.
Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder discussions that align technical strategy with business goals from discovery through implementation.
Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, including data models, automation, Apex, Lightning Web Components,



integrations, and platform architecture to the Highest Standards.
Lead estimation, solution scoping, and delivery planning, defining timelines, resource needs, and technical approaches for successful outcomes.
Oversee source control, CI/CD, code reviews, deployments, and environment management to ensure reliable, efficient delivery.
Mentor and manage local and offshore development teams, providing leadership, coaching, and guidance for growth and successful delivery.
Collaborate with customers throughout delivery to review requirements, provide technical recommendations, manage expectations, and ensure business objectives are met.
Champion AI-enabled development, Salesforce innovation, and emerging technologies while embracing Curiosity & Innovation through continuous learning and improvement.
Contribute to thought leadership, technical standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices that strengthen Saltbox's consulting capabilities and market leadership.
Foster a People First culture through mentorship, collaboration, active listening, knowledge sharing, and support for teammates and the broader Saltbox community.

What You'll Need to Succeed

5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with proven experience leading Salesforce development teams through Agile project delivery and complex client engagements.
Strong leadership, facilitation, communication,



and stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide both technical teams and client discussions effectively.
Deep understanding of Salesforce development and configuration, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, integrations, data architecture, and platform best practices.
Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control strategies, and DevOps best practices.
Experience designing scalable enterprise solutions utilizing design patterns, object-oriented programming principles, authentication models, and large data volume best practices.
Strong understanding of platform security, sharing models, visibility architecture, and integration strategies across enterprise systems.
Fluent English communication skills at both conversational and business-professional levels.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud, Order Management, Marketing Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, or Agentforce solutions.
Experience creating technical architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and enterprise integration designs.
Knowledge of integration middleware, external business systems, and enterprise data integration strategies.
Experience leveraging AI-powered development, testing, architecture, or productivity tools.
Salesforce Platform Developer II, Advanced Developer certification, or equivalent technical expertise.
