This role will be a key member of the finance team, directly supporting the senior finance accountants and contributing to compliance and integrity of accounting and tax compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Primary Responsibility: Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and US GAAP, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Prepare, review, and ensure compliance of invoices and their electronic payment receipts according to Mexican Tax Laws, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Serve as support for both customer and internal inquiries, providing follow-up on accounting matters.
- Collaborate on preparing responses to tax authorities’ invitations.
- Prepare tax reports and files to support tax refunds.
- Electronic accounting filing.
- Retrieving Compliance Letters from local authorities (SAT, INFONAVIT and IMSS).
- Support Finance senior accountant to prepare working papers for Annual Income Tax returns.




- Follow- up with insurance companies to retrieve warranties and finalize administrative processes.
- Support statutory audits, ensuring necessary documentation is prepared and available.
- Audit travel expense reports in compliance with Mexican tax laws, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations and company policies.
- Prepare meaningful accounting reports that provide insights into financial performance and assist in the decision-making process.
- Utilize mid-level Excel tools, pivot tables and formulas, to streamline processes.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of Oracle Financials and other relevant accounting systems, ensuring effective utilization in daily operations.
- Perform other related tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team objectives.
