Sharp Brains is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support in Cuautlancingo, Mexico.
Opportunity Details
Position: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Cuautlancingo, Mexico
Engagement Type: Independent Contractor / 1099
Work Model: Freelance
Schedule: Based on assigned tickets and project requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Provide onsite desktop support based on assigned service tickets
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment
• Diagnose and resolve Windows hardware and software issues
• Perform hardware installation, replacement, configuration, and break/fix activities
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues
• Assist with device deployment, imaging, software installation, and hardware replacement
• Support IMAC and other onsite IT activities as required
• Manage incidents and service requests and provide accurate ticket updates




• Maintain technical documentation and complete service reports
• Provide professional onsite support and customer service
Language Requirements
• English proficiency: B2 level or higher is required
• Spanish proficiency is preferred

This is a freelance opportunity, not a guaranteed full-time position. Assignments are offered based on client requirements, ticket volume, and project needs. Technicians can accept assignments based on their availability.
