We are looking for a Head of Software Engineering to deliver extraordinary experiences for our customers.

This role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills who understands how to lead Aeromexico’s enterprise Software Engineering function by defining the engineering strategy, operating model, talent capabilities, technology platforms, and delivery governance required to build and modernize software products across customer, commercial, operational, corporate, and revenue management areas. The role ensures delivery performance, quality, security, resiliency, developer productivity, platform modernization,



and business value while driving the adoption of DevSecOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, observability, automated testing, modern architecture, and responsible AI across the software development lifecycle.

Educational requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Experience:
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise software engineering organizations and multidisciplinary teams, with ownership of SDLC, engineering standards, software quality, productivity, and delivery governance.
• Experience leading delivery across internal teams, Software Factories, managed services, general system integrators, and strategic technology vendors.
