You Are

UST is searching for a Backend-focused Cloud Engineer for AWS environment. The role centers on building scalable, production-ready applications using modern cloud-native practices. Candidate develops containerized microservices, manages infrastructure automation, and collaborates across teams.



Insurance sector experience strengthens candidacy but isn't essential for strong technical profiles.

The Opportunity

• Develop and maintain Node.js-based cloud applications and microservices.
• Design, deploy, and support solutions on AWS.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and cloud-native architectures.
• Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL database solutions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment automation.
• Own application delivery, production support, and operational stability.
• Secondary Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Automate operational tasks using Terraform, Shell, and Python.
• Support React or Data Engineering initiatives when needed.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to platform improvements, DevOps practices, and continuous process optimization.
