Role Description This full-time, on-site Import Export Specialist role is based in Monterrey, NLE. The specialist coordinates and manages end-to-end import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and internal company policies. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing shipping and customs documentation, tracking shipments, resolving delays, and maintaining accurate records of all cross-border transactions. The role collaborates with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to optimize logistics, control costs, and meet delivery timelines. The specialist also monitors regulatory changes, supports audits, and recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency and risk management.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Import, Export, and Import Export operations and procedures.
• Experience in Customs Brokerage, including documentation, clearance processes, and coordination with customs authorities.




• Understanding of International Trade regulations, trade agreements, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in logistics coordination, shipment tracking, and working with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Ability to interpret trade-related documentation and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Working knowledge of ERP or trade management systems and standard office software.
• Relevant experience in import/export or supply chain; a degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English are highly beneficial.
