Maintenance Manager
Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance function to ensure the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role combines strong technical expertise with people leadership, driving preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, equipment reliability, automation improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The idóneo candidate brings hands-on experience in automated manufacturing environments, strong PLC troubleshooting capabilities, and proven experience developing high-performing maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Equipment Reliability
Lead the Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability, reliability, and operational performance.
Develop and execute maintenance strategies focused on reducing unplanned downtime and improving equipment lifecycle and reliability.
Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic,



and controls-related equipment issues.
Ensure the proper maintenance and reliable operation of tube cutting equipment, CNC machinery, automated equipment, and other critical manufacturing assets.
Establish and continuously improve maintenance standards, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and preventive maintenance procedures.
Monitor equipment performance and maintenance KPIs to identify trends, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities.
Manage spare parts and critical components inventory, balancing equipment availability, lead times, and cost optimization.
Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruption to production schedules.
Controls & Automation
Provide technical leadership and advanced troubleshooting support for PLC-controlled equipment and automated manufacturing systems.
Support PLC programming, troubleshooting, modifications, and optimization as required.
