Summary
Core Molding Technologies is seeking a Plant Director to lead all aspects of plant operations, driving performance across manufacturing, engineering, quality, safety, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
This role has full accountability for plant performance, including P&L; ownership, operational execution, and team leadership. The Plant Director partners with site and corporate leadership to deliver results, build a strong culture, and establish a high-performing, world-class manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all plant operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and safety
• Own plant P&L; performance, driving profitability, cost control, and operational efficiency
• Establish and execute strategies to achieve targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Lead and develop the plant leadership team; establish performance goals and ensure accountability for results
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site




• Ensure strong process discipline and adherence to quality and operational standards
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Allocate resources effectively to meet production and business objectives
• Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed
• Partner with customers, suppliers, and corporate leadership to support business growth and new program launches

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing enviro
