5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)
~ Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
~ Experience building low-latency API services in AWS
~ Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)




~ Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., Professional experience with React
~ Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
~ Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development
~ Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed
~ Bachelor's degree required
~ Experience with append-only, event-sourced, or bitemporal data models
Experience running containerized services on AWS Fargate/ECS
