This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Accounting & Regulatory Reporting professional based in Mexico.

As part of a high-growth fintech environment, you’ll play a central role in building and strengthening a best-in-class Finance organization. You’ll act as the technical leader for the accounting function, with responsibility for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and accounting integration. The role offers high visibility and regular interaction with executive leadership, auditors, regulators, and cross-functional teams. You’ll help lead the accounting integration of a newly acquired regulated financial entity while creating consistency across the wider organization. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys solving complex problems and improving processes. Accountabilities





• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring financial information is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements while maintaining high standards of accounting accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with Mexican NIF and support IFRS and CNBV regulatory reporting requirements.

• Coordinate internal and external audits, including the preparation of supporting documentation and responses to audit requests.

• Lead the accounting integration of a newly acquired SOFIPO, ensuring processes, systems, policies, and reporting are effectively aligned.

• Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and chart of accounts across the Group to promote consistency and stronger financial governance.
