Minimum Requirements

- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls (RSLogix)
- Electrical Background (electrician or technician)

- Allen Bradley Panel View use/programming AB Servo and AB VFD drives
- Familiarity with VFD's, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls
- Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills

Position Duties
- Use Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow up automation project's and installations
- Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems supporting the day-to-day production issues when required.
- Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements
- Define, design and maintain the plant controls strategy, ensuring alignment with ME Group Staff.
- Review,



approve and load all machine controls software to ensure availability of latest level.
- Conduct Machine Acceptance for all new and retool equipment coming from New Programs, CIB projects or maintenance actions
- Review and approve technical drawings
- Prepare projects to improve machine controls and issue PIR's and orders
- Conduct technical review of recaps ensuring accomplishment of Ford Engineering Spec and local regulations
- Review and approve new technologies, materials and components (including obsolescence)
- Provide technical support for energy efficency activities related to electrical circuits
- Coordinate and support of vendor installations in plant
