Brief Role Description
Ensure the supply of the services and products required for the operation of the business areas of the Volkswagen Group's financial companies in the North American Region (NAR) in the committed time, with the required quality,
negotiating the best commercial conditions and at the optimal possible cost with the suppliers with whom it has direct contact, in accordance with the Volkswagen Group's Purchasing guidelines and policies.
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Develop and implement the regional sourcing strategy for the procurement categories under its responsibility (e.g. general services, consulting, building management, office equipment, information technology and marketing services) for the Volkswagen Group's financial companies in the North American Region (NAR); through the analysis of the planning of purchasing requirements of the NAR business areas and the current local contracts in each of the countries and their validity.
