About You

You are an experienced Senior Functional QA Engineer who enjoys understanding complex business workflows and uncovering risks beyond standard happy-path scenarios. You bring a strong quality mindset to SaaS and enterprise environments, with the ability to understand how configurations, transactional processes, integrations, and downstream data flows interact across a broader ecosystem.

You are comfortable independently turning complex requirements into structured test strategies, executing detailed functional testing through web-based interfaces, and validating integration points and existing data-parity results. You bring strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and disciplined documentation practices, while collaborating effectively with platform administrators, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

Note: This is a temporary 6-month opportunity requiring consistent overlap with Pacific Time business hours.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,



Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Functional Quality Assurance, including hands-on testing of complex SaaS or enterprise applications.
- Strong experience performing functional testing directly through web-based graphical interfaces.
- Proven ability to independently create structured and comprehensive test plans covering business workflows, integrations, negative scenarios, boundary conditions, and edge cases.
- Hands-on experience testing billing or subscription workflows, including subscription changes, mid-cycle modifications, invoice generation, and payment events.
- Strong experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on REST API testing experience using Postman, Newman, or equivalent tools.
