Nielsen is hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager to support the Cybersecurity Program Offices growing portfolio of security initiatives This is a senior handson role responsible for scoping and driving execution of complex crossfunctional security initiatives taking direction from ambiguity to an actionable resourced plan The initial assignment is a crossfunctional security infrastructure initiative with additional initiatives added to this persons portfolio over time
Responsibilities
Lead scoping of assigned security initiatives from directional strategy into an executable plan sequencing dependencies resourcing and concrete milestones
For the initial assignment lead scoping of a multiworkstream security infrastructure initiative including defining transition criteria for retiring legacy systems and executing planned decommissioning once those criteria are met
Own ongoing coordination scheduling and crossteam communication across security network engineering enduser computing and cloud operations
Serve as a primary point of contact for external technical partners and vendors supporting initiative delivery managing communications and holding delivery accountable to agreed scope timelines and SLAs
Maintain realtime visibility into initiative health tracking milestones budgetresourcing burn and risk logs and provide executivelevel status updates to the CPO Leader and key stakeholders
Track dependencies risks and open decisions keep documentation current as initiatives evolve
Partner with technical leads who remain focused on technical design and build rather than daytoday coordination and tracking
