About the Position:

We are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer to join the Electronics, reporting directly to the Supplier Development Manager.

This position is based at our office in Tepotzotlán.

As the Supplier Development Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible ensures that purchased materials, components,



and services meet Marelli Electronics quality requirements. This role collaborates closely with suppliers, engineering teams, procurement, and manufacturing to validate and improve supplier processes, drive corrective actions, and maintain compliance with industry standards (such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001).

Your Responsibilities will be:
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to verify quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Qualify new suppliers and manage ongoing supplier performance assessments.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related defects and nonconformities.
- Review and approve supplier PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions and other quality documentation.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics and regular reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality concerns and support launch activities.
