YOUR ROLE
Responsible for coordinating the delivery of materials related to newly manufactured or purchased products for manufacturing operations that require precise timing in order to maximize plant efficiency, and to support achieving delivery schedules and inventory targets. The role includes a significant degree of judgment and scope for independent action, with some direct guidance that may be provided by the supervisor.
Monitor an adequate level of material inventory. The work involves a number of office operations with decisions made based on established standards and procedures. The job is performed independently, with supervision available to handle unusual situations.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Monitor system reports and ensure data accuracy
- Review and maintain material-related information and documentation
- Coordinate with different teams to address material issues
- Support the resolution of system or supply-related issues
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders as needed
- Track orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery
- Identify and prioritize critical materials
- Communicate relevant updates when issues arise
- Work with suppliers to resolve shortages or excess situations
- Ensure availability of required materials to support operations
- Monitor inventory and address discrepancies
- Report and escalate material or supplier-related issues
- Track project status and highlight potential risks
- Ensure materials and resources are delivered as expected
- Maintain proper coordination with logistics and warehouse functions
- Follow applicable safety and compliance requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain professional and ethical conduct
- Adapt to changing responsibilities as needed
