Your role
The Solutions Engineer plays an important role in supporting Shiji's sales organization across the Americas region by serving as a commercial and technical partner throughout the sales process. Working closely with Sales Managers, this role leads the technical aspects of qualified sales opportunities, including operational and technical discovery, tailored product demonstrations, solution design, integration mapping, and proof of concept development.

The Solutions Engineer translates complex hospitality operations and customer requirements into clear, scalable technology solutions across Shiji's portfolio, including Daylight PMS, Infrasys POS, and ancillary products. By engaging directly with operational, technical, and executive stakeholders, this role helps advance sales opportunities by identifying customer requirements, designing appropriate solutions, addressing technical considerations, and ensuring that proposed solutions are accurate, feasible, and aligned with the customer’s business needs.

What You Will Do




- Serve as the primary technical and solutions advisor on qualified sales opportunities.
- Lead in-depth operational and technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, business priorities, operational dependencies, existing technology environments, and desired outcomes.
- Design solutions across Shiji's portfolio by translating hotel and food and beverage operational requirements into clear PMS, POS, integration, hardware, security, infrastructure, and deployment requirements.
- Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concept solutions that connect Shiji's capabilities to customer needs, operational challenges, and business priorities.
- Configure and maintain demonstration environments for complex and strategic sales opportunities, ensuring that demonstrations are accurate, relevant, and aligned with the proposed solution.
