About the roleThe Service Cost Tracker is responsible for providing financial and operational oversight across the service project portfolio throughout the entire project lifecycle. The role partners closely with Service Project Managers and Service Operations Leadership to ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting, margin management, billing readiness, cash flow visibility, and working capital optimization. You will serve as the primary project controls resource within Service Operations and acts as a business partner to Project Managers by providing transparency into project financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting informed operational and commercial decision-making. You will play a key part in improving project profitability, forecasting accuracy, financial discipline, and overall execution performance across maintenance, turnaround, retrofit,



revamp, and specialty service projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Financial Oversight
- Provide project cost control and financial oversight from project initiation through project closeout.
- Partner with Service Project Managers to develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, Estimate at Completion (EAC), and margin projections.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, accruals, labor expenditures, subcontractor costs, travel costs, and material expenditures.
- Identify cost overruns, productivity concerns, and financial risks.
- Support development and implementation of recovery actions where required.
- Ensure financial visibility throughout the project lifecycle.

Forecasting & Reporting
- Develop and maintain project financial forecasts and project performance reports.
- Lead monthly project financial reviews with Service Operations leadership.
